Pridely the Golden Eagle carries the story to a high spine of stone and grass — the Ridge of Echoes, where every monument of the journey sings its lesson back into the wind. In Lesson 2R, Baby America, the Pilgrims, and the guardians hear their whole road at once: the Mayflower's timbers, the Dawnstone, the Elderwood, the Keeper's Column.

"Remembrance is how a people carries its strength," Outstanding Owl teaches. "A story remembered becomes a lantern." The ridge tests the words at once — a roaring summit storm drives the company together, and it is memory that marches them through it: Grandpa Wisdo calling out each lesson by name while Unity Bear walls off the wind and Captain Turtle's beam refuses to go out.

A sweeping lesson on remembrance and resilience — carrying the light of everything behind you into everything ahead, and refusing to set it down.

Part of the America The Beautiful Kids Series 2 Mega-Epic — story-driven lessons for ages 6–14, where Baby America walks with the Pilgrims through the founding chapters of the nation's story.
